Reading Level: Baby ~ Preschool

這本繪本做成消防車的外型應該很受小男生歡迎. 玬玬(1y4m)在聽這故事時可是很認真的邊吸著奶嘴咧 !

之前有介紹過Maisy的作者Lucy Cousins.她的繪本故事內容大多既有趣又簡單易懂,滿適合當孩子的英文啟蒙書的喔!

像這本Maisy's Fire Engine使用的文字並不算多,但是故事的情節可是有高低起伏的. 這會讓孩子對聆聽故事內容更覺得有趣.

裡面的文字敘述:

"Maisy and Cyril are driving the fire engine today.  Nee-nah, nee-nah!

It's time to check the water.  Swoosh!

Watch out, Little Black Cat!

Little Black Cat is scared. She climbs onto the roof and won't come down.

Maisy and Cyril get the ladder.

Then Maisy climbs up the ladder...

and rescues Little Black Cat.

Well done, Firefighter Maisy.

Then Maisy and Cyril take Little  Black Cat for a ride.

Bye-bye!"

這個故事可以在帶有關職業的主題課程中拿來做firefighter (消防員) 的介紹.
